Alex McKown is nominated for a 2012 British Blues Award in addition to his nomination in 2011. Alex was also listed in second place in the Blues Matters Poll for Best Newcomer 2011 and made the final 50 from 7500 entries in the Big Audition with Jamie Cullum in the same year. This year the band have been selected for the New Brunswick "Battle of the Blues" Competition. The band have performed at The Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival, Newark Blues Festival, Diggle Blues Festival, Marsden Jazz Festival, Boogaloo Blues Festival and the Zinc Blues Festival in France amongst many other of their own headline gigs. In addition to the established trio, the band is also available with the addition of special guests who are well known on the blues circuit.
